The objective of the Programs is to put the students on a step towards their professional and social future by introducing them to the world of digital design and creating a bridge of communication between experts and outstanding individuals in the field in order to enrich the digital arts movement in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the Program aims to prepare the students for the job market, introducing their capabilities to companies and interested entities, given the skills and abilities that distinguish the graphic design students at Dar Al-Uloom University through a four-year bachelor’s degree program.
The students in the Graphic Design Programs are taught the fundamentals of digital design and photography, including logo design, various printing techniques, and the principles of designing publishing materials such as newspapers, magazines, and books. They also learn about infographics, producing animated and programmed films, creating websites, video filming, the foundations of advertising campaigns and currency design, as well as innovative approaches to designing entertainment games. All of this is achieved through the introduction and utilization of smart tools and technologies to facilitate the academic and educational process. Furthermore, the Program supports the students in participating in extracurricular activities such as local and international competitions, field trips, various workshops, and community service initiatives.
