On behalf of myself and my esteemed colleagues, I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the Department of Architectural Engineering at Dar Al Uloom University, established within the College of Architecture and Digital Design (CADD) in 2008. The Department of Architectural Engineering is one of the largest departments in the college, offering a five-year bachelor’s degree program for both male and female students. Our aim is to enhance the knowledge and skills of our students, foster their creative sensibility in architectural and urban design, and equip them with the technical abilities needed in building technology, energy systems, and environmental engineering. This preparation enables our graduates to produce innovative and practical designs, as well as deliver construction documents and architectural plans using the latest design and modeling applications.
The department also encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities, such as local and international competitions, field trips, and workshops within the framework of community service. To further prepare our students for the job market, the Architectural Engineering Program has received American accreditation from the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) on 2018, along with full accreditation from the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA) in 2024. This reflects our commitment to providing high-quality architectural education and supporting our graduates in building promising careers that meet market needs.
In 2023, we launched a master’s program in Architecture department, supported by a diverse faculty from academic institutions and professional practices worldwide, all working to advance scientific research and innovation in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
