CADD provides the students and academic staff with a Model-Making Lab where they produce models and prototypes as part of their research and educational tasks; these\u00a0 are equipped among others with one big and ten small 3D Printers, two Laser cutter machines and plotters. Model making Labs facilitatestudents in understanding the construction\r\n\r\nprinciples, realizing their own models,\r\n\r\nexploring shapes and proportions for different projects.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n \r\n

Technical Labs<\/h2>\r\n \r\n
\r\n\r\nTechnical Labs are essential in the professional study of any architecture program. College of Architecture and Digital Design at Dar Al Uloom University established for its students, one in each section,\u00a0 Model Making Labs, Material Labs, Lighting and Acoustic Labs, so as Photographic Labs.\r\n\r\nLighting and Acoustic Labs allows students to appreciate the lighting and acoustic in architecture and interior design, primarily focusing on lighting effects on materials, color and\u00a0 appearance through lighting simulator and color matching cabinet. The concentrates on software simulator for\u00a0 field measurements in buildings about lighting, acoustics, and impact sound insulation such as digital sound level meter and digital lux meter light meter. Additionally, the lab has a variety of software to perform in-depth lighting and acoustic simulation this includes Dailux\u00a0 Evo, IES VE, ODEON Room Acoustics Software.\r\n\r\nPhotographic Labs finally are equipped with professional staging and cameras to introduce students from all the departments in the field of digital pictures and representation.\r\n\r\nAll Labs are integral part of the hands-on\u00a0 learning strategy at CADD and used within the courses so as singularly by students in\u00a0 developing their projects.\r\n
