The Architectural Engineering program at DAU, offers a creative environment of integrating theoretical and structural courses with rigorous hand-on design studios. By doing so, we permit our students to be more creative in all features of the designed environment. In addition, the study Plan focuses on design studio as a core requirement for each semester, and manages with a strong vertical and horizontal coordination through shared strategies.<\/p>\n

Required projects for the Design Studios may vary, from a simple direct application of spaces synthesis, to the most sophisticated collaboration of spaces, covering exemplar projects: Saudi Villa, General Hospital, and a major four terminals International Airport.<\/p>\n

All the required Design Studio projects are indicative with the Saudi Industry: Housing, Sustainability, and Heritage.<\/p>\n

We continuously implement integrative strategy \u201cOne Semester One Plan\u201d to apply and complement the theoretical courses directly into the design studios.<\/p>\n
