Dr. F. Mehdi holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Uludağ University, Bursa, Turkey (March 2021). She completed a three-year postdoctoral fellowship in Civil Engineering at the same university (2021–2023). She has 19 years of academic experience, including teaching and mentoring, as well as professional experience in the design and construction of mega projects in both the public and private sectors, such as Istanbul New Airport and the Grand Egyptian Museum. In 2010, she received the WIPO Award for Best Woman Inventor. In the same year, she was awarded the gold prize for invention at the Korean International Women’s Invention Exposition. Dr. Mehdi is the founder and CEO of Inventors Global Village, which promotes knowledge of invention and innovation across the Middle East. She also founded the “Academic Inventor Training” program. In addition, she served as Editorial Manager of Clavo, focusing on youth initiatives in the region. Her areas of expertise include innovative curriculum development, Online Education, artificial intelligence applications in civil and architectural engineering, invention and innovation, and research technology transfer.
