The Department Finance and Banking organized the first meeting of the Advisory Council for the 2025-2027 period. The meeting was held on Monday 16th February 2026 in the main meeting room of Dar Al Uloom University. During the meeting, Dr. Khaled Al-Jureid was nominated as President of the Council, Engineer Fawaz Nashar as Vice President, and Prof. Dr. Abderrazek Al-Khalidi as Secretary of the Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting featured an in-depth analysis of the new requirements for the labor market in the financial sector, highlighting challenges posed by the AI era. It also presented and discussed the new Bachelor of Finance program study plan, aligned with specialized academic standards and labor market needs analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Major Initiatives<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Council reviewed a project to establish two finance labs\u2014one for male students and one for female students\u2014to enhance practical understanding of financial practices. Members also addressed the Council’s operational mechanisms and agreed on a clear schedule for future periodic meetings and key discussion topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
