{"id":30503,"date":"2026-02-15T09:39:57","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T06:39:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dau.edu.sa\/?p=30503"},"modified":"2026-02-15T09:40:03","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T06:40:03","slug":"the-medpath-club-of-the-college-of-medicine-hosted-an-event-influenza-vaccine-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dau.edu.sa\/en\/the-medpath-club-of-the-college-of-medicine-hosted-an-event-influenza-vaccine-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"The medpath club of the College of Medicine hosted an event \u201d Influenza vaccine Campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"\">As part of Dar Al-Uloom University\u2019s efforts to promote health and preventive practices on campus, and under the patronage of the University President, Professor Khalid Al-Hammoudi, the Student Council at the College of Medicine\u2014supervised by the Masari Medical Club and in collaboration with the Second Health Cluster in Riyadh\u2014organized a campaign titled \u201cSeasonal Influenza Vaccination.\u201d The event was held in the university lobby for both the male and female sections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Target Group:<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">All university staff and their families.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Campaign:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\u2022 Raising awareness about seasonal influenza, its symptoms, and modes of transmission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\u2022 Highlighting the importance of receiving the influenza vaccine annually, especially for groups at higher risk of complications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Correcting misconceptions and common myths surrounding the influenza vaccine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">A vaccination station was set up in the university lobby under the supervision of the healthcare team from the Second Health Cluster in Riyadh.
