The Accounting Department at the College of Business Administration, Dar Al-Uloom University, hosted a special event to celebrate International Accounting Day, attended by faculty members and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Saeed Baatwah, who highlighted the vital role of the accounting profession in promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance, emphasizing its contribution to achieving Saudi Vision 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A keynote lecture titled \u201cZakat and Taxation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia\u201d was delivered by Consultant Mr. Hamoud Al-Harbi from the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, discussing recent developments in financial regulations and the accountant\u2019s role in ensuring compliance and enhancing financial efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event also featured an interactive Q&A session, where students and attendees engaged in discussions, raised questions about professional challenges, and explored future opportunities in the accounting field, creating a dynamic and enriching experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event concluded with Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Qaed, Vice Dean of the College, honoring Mr. Hamoud Al-Harbi for his valuable contribution, and expressing gratitude to all attendees for their active participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
