{"id":25797,"date":"2023-12-24T11:19:21","date_gmt":"2023-12-24T08:19:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dau.edu.sa\/?page_id=25797"},"modified":"2024-12-04T13:12:34","modified_gmt":"2024-12-04T10:12:34","slug":"about-the-directorate","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/dau.edu.sa\/en\/about-the-directorate\/","title":{"rendered":"About the Directorate 2"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>General Directorate of Planning, Development, and Quality Assurance Mission:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Promoting DAU&#8217;s leadership and excellence through strategic planning, the optimal application of quality assurance standards, and performance assessment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Developing and updating periodically the university&#8217;s organizational structure to support its institutional excellence.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing the university&#8217;s strategic plan, monitoring its implementation, measuring its performance, and developing it, in line with the university&#8217;s vision and in response to local and global changes.<\/li>\n<li>Supervising the preparation of strategic plans for colleges, programs, deanships, and departments, as well as the annual operational plans for academic programs.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and implementing the accreditation plans which aimed at obtaining local and international accreditations for the university and its programs and renewing them periodically.<\/li>\n<li>Providing consultations, supporting, and training to all university units concerning the achievement of quality requirements, local and international academic accreditation.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring the implementation of the institutional accreditation requirements, national program accreditations, and developing improvement plans to enhance performance in accordance with ETEC-NCAAA standards.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and implementation of a plan to develop and enhance the quality of higher education outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of the annual report for the university.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of studies and reports aimed at improving the institutional effectiveness and supporting decision-making processes at the university.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzing the results of periodically distributed surveys, preparing reports on the results, and proposing improvement plans based on them.<\/li>\n<li>Developing and improving the academic and professional capabilities for the faculty members, and the administrative staff.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>General Directorate of Planning, Development, and Quality Assurance Mission: Promoting DAU&#8217;s leadership and excellence through strategic planning, the optimal application of quality assurance standards, and performance assessment.
