Students Affairs organizes an introductory meeting for new students
The Student Affairs department under the Deanship of Admissions, Registration and Student Affairs organized an introductory meeting on Monday (September 10th) for new students, welcoming and familiarizing the students to the University’s regulations and facilities.
The meeting started in the male section. Dr. Nasser Al-Enizy Vice Dean for Student Affairs explained the mechanism of university education, and ways to adapt to the new academic life. He urged students to take advantage of all kinds of activities and programs offered, as they are a fertile field to channel energies.
Mr. Abdulrahman Afia, UPP Vice Director gave a brief overview of the program, and stressed on the importance of commitment to attendance and non-violation of university regulations.
Dr. Al-Enizy introduced the students to the facilities of the university giving a brief tour of the university’s hallways and colleges, and emphasized on the impact of knowledge of university facilities on adapting to university life.
The Department of Student Affairs, represented by Ms. Lina Al-Saleem, who is responsible for student activities, organized an introductory meeting for the new students joined with a representative of each faculty and student club. The Students’ questions were answered.
Today, a workshop will be held for both male and female students, it is about information systems, e-learning, university e-mail, and how these can make university studies easier for students.
