Registration and Student Affairs at Dar Al Uloom University participates in the awareness of and protection against narcotics
The Deanship of Registration and Student Affairs at Dar Al Uloom University participated in a workshop entitled, ‘The Co-operation between the National Committee for Narcotics Control, the Ministry of Education, the Deanships of Student Affairs at Saudi Universities, and the General Directorate of Narcotics Control in the field of awareness of and protection against narcotics.’ This was on last Wednesday evening, on the 28th of February at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Narcotics Control.
Dar Al Uloom University was represented in the workshop by Dr Abdul-Rahman Al-Azman, Dean of Registration and Student Affairs. The workshop was also attended by Dr Ali Al-Rubaian, the Head of the Permanent Committee of Narcotics Control at the Ministry of Education, Colonel Dr Sami Al-Humoud, the Chief Executive Officer for Nebras, and Professor Dr Abdul-Monem Al-Hayani, the Secretary of the Committee for Deans of Student Affairs at the Universities in the Kingdom.
The workshop aimed at building practical partnerships and creating an environment for co-operation between the National Committee for Narcotics Control and Saudi Universities as represented by Deanships of Student Affairs. It also aimed to build a model for a Unit for Awareness of and Protection against Narcotics in the Deanships of Student Affairs in Saudi Universities.
