As part of College of Business Administration’s cooperative efforts to align its outputs with the labor market needs and enhance students’ skills and efficiency to advance career opportunities, the Finance and Banking Program at the College of Business Administration at Dar Al Uloom University has obtained the Professional Affiliation with the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute (CFA Institute), which is considered as the world leader for enhancing the cognitive, professional and ethical practices in the field of investment and financial analysis.

The Head of Finance and Banking Department, Dr. Abderrazak Khaldi, expressed his happiness with this achievement, which comes after reviewing the study plan and learning outcomes for all courses to ensure their alignment with the requirements of the professional certificate. Dr. Abderrazak also stated that obtaining this Affiliation confirms the excellence of the study plan in the program and its keeping pace with the skills and competencies needed by the labor market.

This Affiliation has a positive impact on the students and graduates of the program by providing them with a competitive advantage when applying for jobs and during their career path. It also allows graduates of the program to obtain partial scholarships to complete registration procedures for membership in the Institute and the fees for professional certification tests, in addition to benefiting from various scientific resources such as scientific publications and financial databases issued periodically by the Institute.

It is worth mentioning that Dar Al Uloom University is the among the first Saudi Private University and the Fifth all Saudi Universities to obtain this Affiliation from the respectable Professional Institute.
