The Entrepreneurship Club Attends the Misk Global Forum 2023
The College of Business Administration, in cooperation with the Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer at the University, organized a visit by a group of male and female students from the Entrepreneurship Club to the Misk Global Forum 2023, which was held from November 15 to 17, 2023. The visit aimed to provide an opportunity for the students to listen to inspiring experts and speakers in various fields of leadership, entrepreneurship, change, technology, and human capital development.
Among the sessions attended by the participants was a session presented by His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources in which he spoke about the future of youth entrepreneurship in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.The forum addressed several topics related to the field of entrepreneurship, such as technology, science, culture, arts, and leadership. The participants had the opportunity to attend a workshop entitled “Developing Human Capital,” presented by His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng Ahmed Al-Rajhi. The participants also listened to a speech delivered by Mr. Badr Al-Badr, CEO of the Misk Foundation, and attended the dialogue session with Mr. Matthew Orkan Dursun, Co-Founder and CEO of Carbomgate and UN Leader for the Sustainable Development Goals.During the forum, the students were able to communicate with speakers and participate in discussions and interactive activities. The participants also benefited from valuable information and practical advice provided them.The participants expressed their gratitude for attending such useful and beneficial forum as it presents a valuable opportunity to learn and communicate with their peers, professional and creative speakers. It also presents an opportunity to enhance students’ spirit of leadership and innovation, promote self-confidence, and critical thinking, and encourage students to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their study at the university in real contexts to achieve positive change in society.
