The College of Business Administration organizes an orientation session on “Exit Exams”.
In response to the initiation of the “Exit Exams” at DAU, the College of Business Administration organized an orientation session on the “Exit Exam” for its academic programs on Tuesday, 04/23/2024, at CAAD theater. The session commenced with a warm welcome to the graduate students, followed by an overview of the Exit Exam. The university’s policy governing this exam (DAU 3-19) was also discussed, emphasizing the significance of the exit exams for graduate students. Furthermore, the session highlighted how these exams contribute to enhancing graduates’ skills and fulfilling the demands of the labor market.
The key goals of the exit exam were also addressed in the session indicating that the exam was intended for all bachelor’s degree candidates who are in their final year of study at the university and about to graduate in order to assess the extent to which the program’s learning outcomes and DAU’s graduate attributes have been achieved, and to identify deficiencies in the study plans, if any, which ultimately contributes to improving the quality and effectiveness of academic performance at both the programmatic and institutional levels.
During the session, and as part of its keenness to prepare and qualify students for the exit exam, the college administration alerted the participants about the upcoming mock exam scheduled for Wednesday, 01/05/2024. The purpose of this exam is to familiarize the students with the exam process, identify strengths and shortcomings, and prepare the students for the final exit exam. Additionally, the college administration announced to the participants that the final exit exam would take place on Wednesday, 15/05/2024. At the end of the meeting, the college administration responded to the students’ inquiries and expressed warm wishes for their ongoing success.
