Dr Ayad Aldaijy is a senior IT and executive leader and a subject matter expert in cybersecurity He has a wealth of 29 years of experience in leadership and advisory roles in reputable local and global organizations

Dr Aldaijy has successfully delivered transformational mission critical systems for many public sector organizations He led and engaged with Information Technology Cyber Security Digital EconomyTransformation Artificial Intelligence Technology Strategic Planning Organizational Transformation Solutions Drive Smarter Technology and services Big Data Web Data mining IoT Teaching and Coaching Knowledge Management Change Strategies and Research and Analysis

In September 2015 Dr Aldaijy joined the Ministry of Environment Water Agriculture Saudi Arabia as Advisor to the Minister and Chief Information Officer CIO He played a key role in the continued development of the Ministry serving as an integral and strategic member of its senior management team He was primarily responsible for the management of the Ministrys present and future information communication technology services position and building a strong and capable team to support the Ministrys vision to achieve sustainability of environment and natural resources ensure water security contribute to achieving food security and improve quality of life in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Previously Dr Aldaijy has held a number of managerial positions in Saudi Arabian Royal Guard and Ministry of Defense including of CIO position at Saudi Arabian Royal Guard He started his professional career with Royal Saudi Air Force RSAF in June 1990 where he engaged and led a number of critical ICT projects for major organizations in RSAF and Ministry of Defense He retired as Brigadier General

Dr Aldaijy received the PhD degree in information technology from George Mason University Virginia USA in 2003 He received his BS and MS degrees in information systems from George Washington University Washington DC in 1988 and 1990 consecutively Dr Aldaijy won the Catalyst 2018 Best Government CIO in the GCC region and similarly won The Prestigious World CIO 200 Award by the global CIO Forum 2019 Moreover and just recently he won The World CIO 200 Awards Legend by The Global CIO Forum 2020

Dr Aldaijy had been speaking on major regional and international conferences on sustainability and cybersecurity developments

He is currently a member of the faculty of Dar Al Uloom University in Riyadh Saudi Arabia
