Public relations and media celebrates the issue of “Uloom Al Dar”

The public relations and media department at Dar Al Uloom University arranged a celebration of the issue of the official university newsletter Uloom Al Dar yesterday, Tuesday. This was attended by His Excellence the General Supervisor for the newsletter, Professor Dr Kahlid bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Humodi, the university Rector, and a number of writers and university staff who participated in the newsletter.

The Chief Editor, Mr Yaser Selim, welcomed His Excellence the General Supervisor for the newsletter and all respected attendees and said that the vision of Uloom Al Dar is to become the premier university newsletter and most distinguished media voice among university newsletters in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and we are determined to achieve this vision.

The Chief Editor of Uloom Al Dar added that it is easy to succeed as long as the means are available and the means for success exist, by Allah’s Blessing. His Excellence the General Supervisor has overcome challenges and respected Mr Nawaf Al-Tuwaijri, the Chief Executive Officer, have followed up every step we took. Any person who was aked to participate did not delay in doing so, but, on the contrary, there were a number of initiatives from university representatives.

From his side, His Excellence the General Supervisor for the newsletter, Professor Dr Kahlid Al-Humodi thanked everyone who supported the efforts of this work, led by respected Mr Nawaf Al-Tuwaijri. His Excellence said that Uloom Al Dar, after having stopped for a while, has appeared in a different and attractive form, and likewise, its contents has varied from news, to culture, to academic research, and also leisure.

His Excellence the General Supervisor added that among the aims of Uloom Al Dar newsletter is that it becomes a media voice for the university and publishing academic participations from the teaching faculty. This is in addition to giving the opportunity for male and female students to discover their gifts in writing. He also added that a number of editors in current newspapers started their professions through university newsletters.
